About The Position

The Integrations Developer at the University of Florida (UF) is a professional-level role within the Applications, Development, and Integrations unit of UF Information Technology (UFIT). This position focuses on integrating various applications, both on-premise and in the cloud, while serving as a subject matter expert in application integrations. The successful candidate will mentor junior developers, design integration standards, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver robust solutions that meet the technological needs of the university community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of relevant experience
  • Deep knowledge of Enterprise Integration Tools (e.g., MuleSoft, SnapLogic, BizTalk, Informatica, Boomi)
  • Knowledge of Workday Integrations and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions IB integrations
  • Experience with code repositories and deployment strategies (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and SCRUM development approaches
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision
  • Experience with Workday Integrations including APIs, EIBs, PECI, PICOF, Workday Studio, Core Connector for Worker, and Benefits
  • Sound understanding of one or more functional modules in Workday is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Integrating applications both on premise and in the cloud
  • Designing standards for integrations between applications
  • Mentoring junior level developers on integration best practices
  • Working within an ESB product
  • Validating requirements and translating them into technical design
  • Working both independently and collaboratively with stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions
  • Conducting discovery and design sessions with functional teams as needed
  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connector, PICOF, PECI, and Workday Studio
  • Creating complex reports as required for integrations and providing testing and support
  • Facilitating communication and information flow between business partners and project teams to refine requirements and deliver on project goals.
