About The Position

The Intel Analyst position is a remote role focused on conducting in-depth analysis and monitoring of events affecting national and international security. The analyst will be responsible for collecting and disseminating information from various sources, particularly in relation to cyber and physical security threats. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to produce actionable intelligence products, and a deep understanding of the electricity sector and its security protocols.

Requirements

• 4+ years of related experience in security operations, research, and intelligence analysis.
• Basic understanding of cyber security or physical security.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize requests effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous documentation and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills for conveying information accurately.
• Capability to build constructive working relationships.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with deep/dark web analysis.
• Experience with ransomware threats.
• Proficiency in Python.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth Open Source information collection.
• Monitor events affecting national and international security.
• Develop various analytic or informational products for stakeholders.
• Research, correlate, and disseminate timely and accurate information.
• Pro-actively monitor technology to alert members and partners of incidents.
• Provide daily, targeted intelligence products in various forms.
• Maintain knowledge of current trends, threat actors, and vulnerabilities.
• Cultivate knowledge of industry roles and responsibilities regarding security.
• Maintain training and readiness for incident response procedures.
• Handle administrative duties and manage customer relationships.
