About The Position

The position is part of Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) Advisory Investigations and Intelligence (I&I) practice, focusing on providing investigative expertise to analyze events, people, entities, and financial data for federal clients. The role emphasizes collaboration and innovation to support national security through the integration of commercial sector insights and methodologies. The Encore Program is designed to assist professionals returning to the workforce, offering mentorship and skill development in a client service environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required clearance for the role; Secret Clearance and above highly preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience with intelligence analysis and conducting classified research and analysis is required.
  • 3+ years of due diligence investigations experience.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create polished deliverables in various formats.
  • Ability to analyze and summarize documents and written materials in an organized report format.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Legal research (PACER, Westlaw).
  • Experience with commercial due diligence databases (Accurint, Lexis).
  • Familiarity with Visual and Link Analysis tools (i2, Tableau).
  • Experience in Social Media Analysis.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property research (WIPO, USPTO).

Responsibilities

  • Support a federal client by identifying analogous commercial sector capabilities to advance methodological tradecraft.
  • Merge unclassified research with classified targeting methodologies such as call chain analysis and targeting.
  • Provide commercial perspectives on supply chain risk, financial systems, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate sector activities related to national security threats.
