About The Position

The Interface Coordinator at Fluor Corporation is responsible for providing overall engineering execution leadership on small to mid-sized projects, ensuring the successful execution of engineering work while promoting a positive project culture. This role involves managing the engineering team, developing execution strategies, and coordinating design activities across various engineering disciplines to meet project goals and maintain quality standards.

Requirements

  • Accredited four-year degree in engineering or global equivalent and ten years of work-related experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to translate strategy into actionable execution plans.
  • Experience as a Project Engineering Lead on FEED and Detail Design projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ISP & OSP fiber optic/copper cabling and associated infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Navisworks 3D Modeling software.
  • Certifications from Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or similar organizations.
  • Experience with Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) and NFPA codes and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall engineering execution leadership on small to mid-sized projects.
  • Manage the performance of the engineering team and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support the interfaces between engineering disciplines and identify critical activities for execution strategy.
  • Review project Scope of Services and baseline documents for all project phases.
  • Lead the development of the Project Execution Strategy for engineering functions.
  • Coordinate engineering schedule planning sessions and ensure alignment with project milestones.
  • Champion a culture of open communication and issue resolution within the engineering team.
  • Verify engineering work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards.
  • Support implementation of cost competitive execution techniques and value awareness programs.
  • Lead and support the implementation of change management procedures for engineering functions.
