About the position

The Interim Skilled Nursing Facility Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the skilled nursing facility's operations during a transitional period. This position is designed for a temporary duration of 13 weeks, during which the manager will be responsible for ensuring that the nursing activities meet the highest standards of care for residents. The role requires a proactive approach to managing nursing staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures that enhance patient care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The manager will work closely with the Director of Nursing to align the facility's operations with the overall goals of the healthcare system. This position is essential for maintaining continuity of care and supporting the nursing team in delivering quality services to residents. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise nursing activities of residents in the skilled nursing facility (SNF).
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures related to patient care.

Requirements

  • California RN license.
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or Master's degree.
