About the position

The Undergraduate Intern position at General Atomics offers students in Chemical Engineering the opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional setting. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the performance of pilot plant testing of supercritical water oxidation technology.
  • Prepare feed materials and conduct liquid sampling.
  • Assist in analytical sample preparation and equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in safety training to ensure safe operations.
  • Download, prepare, evaluate, and document test data.
  • Perform general lifting of materials and equipment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of chemical engineering principles and practices.
  • Ability to work under general supervision and follow safety protocols.
