About the position
Visteon seeks a BS or MS in Computer Science, Systems and/or Electrical Engineering student with relevant education or experience to support Customer Program Launches. Responsibilities
- Meet customer deliverable objectives by developing, analyzing, debugging and delivering products.
- Diagnosing existing issues to find the root cause.
- Flashing and updating software to fix problems.
- Logging defects after testing and completing reports for tests being done.
- Modifying and designing test cases.
- Completing assigned tasks in a quality and timely manner.
- Develop test procedures and generate reports for tests conducted.
- Obtain approvals from customers on various stages of sign off and reports.
Requirements
- Master's / bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems and/or Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of relevant experience preferably in a regional or global environment.
- Experience collaborating with Executive Team and Business Leaders.
- Basic electronics and circuit analysis knowledge.
- Knowledge of network communication, especially CAN or Ethernet.
- Solid understanding of Software Development and life cycle management, including tools for defect tracking and sprint planning and management.
- Process-oriented in completing tasks.
- Good communication skills with various nationalities, especially workers outside America.
- Good organization and ability to work on urgent high priority tasks.
