About The Position

ICU Medical is seeking a Junior/Senior standing student pursuing a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to assist in the development of conceptual circuit board designs and build prototypes to assess feasibility. The role involves applying analytical and statistical methodologies to support design decisions, performing lab activities, testing, and experiments as directed by engineering staff, and troubleshooting electrical circuits as required. This position is essential for supporting the company's commitment to clinical innovations in IV therapy and critical care products.

Requirements

• General understanding of product development and manufacturing processes
• Familiar with selection of electrical components
• Working knowledge of circuit board design and layout tools (i.e. schematic capture, PCB layout)
• Working knowledge of data analysis software tools (i.e. Excel, Python, MiniTab)
• Good communication and written skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with medical devices/infusion pumps is a plus
