About the position
HF Sinclair is seeking a Renewables intern for the summer of 2025 in Dallas, TX. Under close and frequent supervision, this intern will conduct routine assignments for Commercial support for the renewables organization. The intern will assist in generating reports to monitor business performance and summarize key performance indicators (KPIs). They will also assist in reviewing Renewables contracts and pricing for accuracy, ensuring that all documentation is complete and delivered in a timely manner. Additionally, the intern will assist with feedstock and product distribution at Renewable facilities, liaising with other departments such as Refinery Accounting, Credit, Marketing, Tax, and Data Integrity to ensure assigned customers receive excellent customer service. The intern will ensure that contract and pricing documentation is compliant with Audit and SOX requirements and will coordinate with scheduling, billing, and accounting groups to ensure invoices are prompt and accurate. Special assignments or tasks may also be assigned by their supervisor as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist in generating reports to monitor business performance and summarize key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Assist in reviewing Renewables contracts and pricing for accuracy, ensuring timely delivery
- Assist with feedstock and product distribution at Renewable facilities

- Complete special assignments or tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Some completed courses needed for a Bachelor's Degree in business, business analytics, supply chain management, or other relevant degree are required
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Excel (e.g., V-Lookup, pivot tables)
- Strong analytical skills with solid attention to detail
- Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task complex requirements
- Intermediate reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Demonstrated initiative and strong problem-solving skills
- Results-oriented with the ability to influence through good written and verbal communication
