About the position
Under direct supervision, this position revises and improves text of technical documents or related materials in terms of quality, clarity, spelling, and grammar.
Responsibilities
- Organize material and complete writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions
- Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by internal requestors
- Develop or maintain online help documentation
- Assist in laying out material for publication including large format printing and publication
- Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples to integrate and delineate technology, operating procedure, and production sequence and detail
- Other duties as assigned
Nice-to-haves
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, with critical attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
- Must be highly organized
- Graphic design skills
