Internal Auditor

About the position

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking an Internal Auditor to join our team. As a leading innovator in forklift and material handling equipment, we are committed to providing our customers with the safest and most efficient lift trucks. The Internal Auditor will perform and report on operational, financial, and compliance audits, assist outside auditors, and engage in special projects related to internal controls. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can analyze data, identify risks, and make recommendations to improve business practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report on operational, financial, and compliance audits.
• Assist outside auditors by collaborating with the Accounting Department.
• Engage in special projects and evaluate existing policies and procedures for internal controls.
• Provide general assistance and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Less than 2 years related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (non-degree considered with 12+ years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED).
• Extensive travel and overnight stays (over 20%).
