About the position

The International Operations Specialist - Air Export at Radiant Global Logistics is a full-time role focused on managing air export and ocean shipments while ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. The specialist will oversee the entire process from shipment routing to customs clearance, train new team members, negotiate with vendors, and analyze operational processes for improvements. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong logistics background looking to contribute to a dynamic and growing company.

Responsibilities

• Manage air export consignments from start to finish, ensuring accurate routing, documentation, and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee Customs clearance for air export shipments, coordinating with vendors and partners.
• Train and mentor new team members in air freight and ocean export operations.
• Take ownership of key accounts, ensuring excellent communication and execution of daily operations.
• Collaborate with the International Operations Service Center to improve team performance.
• Negotiate with air freight vendors to secure competitive rates and develop effective rate structures.
• Create and submit AES customs export filings and maintain accurate records for invoicing and billing.
• Monitor shipment progress, provide updates to customers, and troubleshoot issues for on-time delivery.
• Analyze and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or related field is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in air export forwarding; ocean export experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding systems (e.g., Cargowise, SAP, Gateway).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of industry regulations, including TSA, CTPAT, and export documentation requirements.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
