About the position

This opening is part of Infineon's Internship program. The Internship Program gives you the opportunity to gain enriching and diverse experiences and work side by side with experienced leaders to power your career. In your new role you will support MOSFET product go to market and fit for use testing activities for Motor Drives and Telecom/Datacenter applications, support MOSFET product validation testing for 3-Phase inverters and DC/DC converters, and engage in evaluation board design and testing while writing application documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support MOSFET product go to market and fit for use testing activities for Motor Drives and Telecom/Datacenter applications
• Support MOSFET product validation testing for 3-Phase inverters and DC/DC converters
• Evaluation board design and testing and writing application documentation

Requirements

• Working on a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Able to work 40 hours per week (preferred) for 12 weeks of internship
• A basic understanding in analog and digital circuits and measurement techniques
• Experience with bench test equipment like: Power Supplies, Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, thermal camera
• Some experience in high-frequency, high-current DC/DC converter and 3-Phase inverter designs including lab skills for testing and debugging
• Some experience with basic EE design simulation
• Basic PCB design and layout expertise
• Self-learning, self-disciplined, and a good team player
• Good at developing relationships with internal and external engineering community
• Hands-on person with ability to work with hardware and lab equipment
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Good communication skills in both verbal and written English

Benefits

• Minimum of $25.50 per hour
• Maximum of $30.00 per hour
• Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed
