The Electrical Engineering Services and Systems global service team is one of the largest and most experienced teams of power system professionals in the industry. As a Field Service Engineer Intern, you will work on projects that have a measurable impact on our business, providing solutions to our customers' power problems at every stage of the power system. This internship is designed for those who demonstrate high levels of ethics, values, creativity, and performance. During your summer paid internship, you will work on assigned projects related to electrical power distribution equipment, delivering technical solutions to customers and performing complex engineering assignments. You will gain knowledge in various areas, including Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting Techniques, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, Disaster Recovery, Rotating Machinery, and Protection & Control Design. Additionally, you will generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties. This internship will prepare you for both technical and future leadership roles at Eaton, with a structured training and development curriculum that includes instructor-led sessions, virtual classrooms, eLearning courses, and on-the-job training provided by expert mentors and team members.
