About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in optimizing inventory with a track record of managing large-scale inventories.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Proven experience in ERP upgrades.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership and team-building skills with experience in managing and developing a team of inventory control professionals.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present findings to senior management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Service Parts industry, specifically related to vehicles, machinery, or industrial equipment.
  • Experience with Inventory Management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certification in Inventory Management (e.g., CPIM) is highly desirable.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and querying.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Develop an Inventory Management Strategy in collaboration with the third-party Logistics company (3PL) to bring functionality back internally by 2026.
  • Build and develop a skilled team to execute inventory management functions.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency.
  • Forecast demand and coordinate with sales and production teams to ensure adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Develop and maintain inventory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the inventory management function.
