The IS Support Tech position is responsible for the configuration and installation of new end-user devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing recommendations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Configuration and installation of new end-user devices including workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Support, troubleshoot, and resolve end-user hardware and software issues.
• Provide recommendations for hardware and software improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years' experience in help desk and desktop technical support.
• Experience troubleshooting basic network, hardware, software, and printing problems.

Nice-to-haves

• Strongly developed analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows Server 2003, XP, and Vista).
• Intermediate knowledge of Application and Network Troubleshooting.
• Ability to search and understand articles to troubleshoot customer issues.
• Excellent demonstrated customer service skills.
• Effective learning skills.
• Professionalism with a pleasant demeanor and positive attitude.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
