About the position

The IT Administrator at DAIOHS U.S.A., INC. is responsible for maintaining and improving the company's IT systems to support business operations. This role involves collaborating with the IT Manager and Field Administrators, managing user accounts, ensuring network security, and troubleshooting IT-related issues. The IT Administrator will also be involved in installing and configuring hardware and software, as well as training users on new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Understand corporate IT policy and IT strategy.
  • Work closely with IT Manager and Field Administrators.
  • Facilitate communication between users and IT vendors.
  • Gather business requirements from key users and convey requirements to vendor.
  • Monitor progress of requests to vendors.
  • Participate in periodical progress meetings with vendors.
  • Monitor network performance and maintain network security.
  • Monitor system performance and system security logs.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware (including laptops, handhelds, etc.).
  • Install, configure, and maintain applications (Prism, AccountMate, Kintone, WordPress).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues reported by users.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and security settings.
  • Install, configure, and ensure the availability of network resources and services.
  • Install and configure network hardware, such as routers and switches.
  • Train users on new hardware and software.
  • Work with vendors to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in IT field.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10 and RedHat Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • CompTIA Security+ is a plus.
  • CompTIA Network+ is a plus.
  • Cisco CCNA is preferred.
  • CompTIA Linux+ is a plus.
  • Experience with network hardware, such as routers and switches.
  • Require at least 2 years of experience with Microsoft SSRS development.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
