About the position

The IT Analyst Manager at The Judge Group Inc. is a pivotal role that oversees IT projects and manages relationships within the organization. This position requires extensive project management experience, as the candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time and that any escalated issues are resolved efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, which are essential for developing, presenting, and executing plans for small to mid-size projects. They will also be tasked with eliciting and documenting business requirements, overseeing a collaborative team, and leading technical teams while effectively communicating with technical, business, and management stakeholders. Furthermore, the IT Analyst Manager should have a solid understanding of how to develop, present, and interpret performance metrics to gauge project success and team performance. In this hybrid remote position, the IT Analyst Manager will work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, allowing for flexibility while still maintaining a strong presence in the office. The role involves preparing and executing projects and work plans, developing detailed system requirements, change requests, and test plans. The manager will perform second-level support activities to monitor, track, and resolve issues, working closely with end-users to understand their problems and guide systems developers based on user needs. Prioritizing user problems and design requests is crucial, as is the ability to describe detailed problems and approaches to end-users in a non-technical manner. The IT Analyst Manager will also be responsible for preparing and presenting materials to stakeholders, including project plans, analyses, presentations, and business metrics, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, tracking team progress toward project plan goals is a key responsibility, ensuring that the team remains aligned with the overall objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and executes projects and work plans.
• Develops detailed system requirements, change requests, and test plans.
• Performs 2nd level support activities to monitor, track, and resolve issues.
• Works with end-users to understand problems and issues thoroughly and guides systems developers based on user needs.
• Prioritizes user problems and design requests.
• Describes detailed problems and approaches to end-users in a non-technical manner.
• Reviews and revises documentation accordingly.
• Prepares and presents materials to stakeholders, including project plans, analysis, presentations, and business metrics.
• Works closely with stakeholders and effectively communicates with team members, management, and vendors.
• Tracks team progress toward project plan goals.

Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project are required.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau are required.
• Five years of project management experience, including three years of personnel management.
• Seven years of work experience in a technology-related field is required.
