The Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) Manager at Carlisle Interconnect Technologies will play a pivotal role in overseeing the administration of the PLM system, ensuring that processes are standardized and effectively implemented across the organization. This position is crucial for managing the entire product lifecycle, from inception through engineering and manufacturing, to the end of the product's life. The PLM Manager will be responsible for leading the realization of application strategy and roadmap in alignment with the business strategy, managing resources for PLM applications, and directing the research, design, and development of PLM solutions that meet current and future business needs. In this role, the PLM Manager will collaborate closely with business partners to identify opportunities for streamlining operations through standardization and sharing best practices across various facilities and business units. A deep understanding of business processes will be essential, as the manager will apply technological solutions to continuously improve key business and manufacturing processes. The PLM Manager will serve as the central point of contact for all PLM system administration, implementation, and support, ensuring that all projects are delivered with a high level of quality and meet business requirements. The position also involves managing and leading PLM and CAD upgrade projects, implementing master data governance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as NIST-800 171 and CMMC 2.0. The PLM Manager will oversee vendor engagements and coordinate contracts related to PLM and CAD, ensuring that all data is properly classified, stored, and maintained. This role requires a proactive approach to managing complex projects and ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery for the PLM environment. Overall, the PLM Manager will be instrumental in driving the success of product lifecycle management initiatives within the company.
