About the position

Rockland Trust is seeking an experienced IT Contract Manager to oversee the lifecycle of IT contracts, including negotiation, execution, compliance, and renewal. The ideal candidate will work closely with legal, business application owners, and IT teams to manage vendor relationships, ensure contract compliance, and optimize contract performance to align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, negotiate, and manage IT contracts, including software, hardware, and service agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess contract requirements, risks, and legal implications.
  • Monitor vendor performance, manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate contract records and documentation, ensuring timely reporting and audits.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiencies in contract management processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT contract-related inquiries and disputes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in IT contract management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in contract management, preferably in an IT or technology-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT procurement, software licensing, and vendor management.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret legal and technical terms in contracts.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM, or IACCM).
  • Experience working in IT contract management within large enterprises or government organizations.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
