The Publix Technology Services (PTS) Project Manager contributes to the successful delivery of hardware and configurable systems to support infrastructure projects for Publix Technology (PT) in the Retail and Corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PTS leadership and business area associates to identify, plan, and monitor the delivery and support efforts of their teams
• Partner with project leaders and team members to develop and manage the project plan, including scope, timeline, and budget
• Evaluate, adjust, and share project information to support good decision-making and accurate reporting of status, schedule, and budget
• Ensure all appropriate areas are represented (PT, business areas, vendors, etc.) and that effective relationships are developed and maintained
• Facilitate adherence to processes that enable project delivery (e.g., information protection, hardware/software procurement, access, supplemental contracting)
• Assist in identifying, examining, and reporting risks and issues
• Perform project maintenance and reporting tasks, including SAP, BW reporting, Splunk, SQL reporting, but not limited to other associated applications
• Manage day-to-day activities of service providers to include the facilitation of weekly meetings, creating and publishing performance metrics and actionable items to support the associated equipment category
• Act as the second level escalation point for assigned service providers pertaining to issues or extended outages
• Create, analyze, and provide relevant metric information to support operational decision making to the various PT teams

Requirements

• Associate degree in computer science, information science, communications; or other analytical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years' experience in the IT Industry in an analytical role, with responsibility for planning and executing projects
• Knowledge of systems development and project management methodologies; and how they are employed to successfully deliver
• Competency in determining priority and managing time and quality in the execution of multiple concurrent projects and assignments
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work a variable work schedule as needed including nights, holidays, weekends, and extended hours to meet deadlines
