About the position

The IT Help Desk Specialist at Securitas Technology is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to users, both onsite and remotely. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining inventory, and ensuring effective communication with end users. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance, diagnostic, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with projects of various degrees as needed.
  • Provide onsite and remote support for users.
  • Maintain physical inventory and ticket assignment in Service Now.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with all levels of end users.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years experience within IT preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers as needed.
  • Occasional lifting of parts and equipment as needed.
