About The Position

The IT Help Desk Technician at Aloha Freight Forwarders is responsible for providing support to the IT Department, assisting with daily system maintenance, and managing various IT projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of IT services and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• 2 years of help desk experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and general helpdesk operations.
• Understanding of networking and network security principles.
• Experience with remote desktop support and managing roaming profiles.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Windows Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of Wyse thin clients and Accuterm/Terminal Emulation.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT Department with day-to-day system maintenance and projects.
