About the position

The IT Product Manager (Plant Maintenance) plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology and business needs by developing and managing IT products and services that support the company operations, enhance efficiency, and drive growth in collaboration with the Product Owner. This position involves executing on product roadmaps as outlined by senior leadership, focusing on short-term product improvements and tactical delivery. The IT Product Manager will work closely with the Product Owner to define product requirements, refine user stories, and ensure clear communication between business and IT teams focused on developing Plant Maintenance and Quality applications to serve 9 production plants across the US. Responsibilities also include conducting user acceptance testing, collaborating with the QA team to ensure product features meet quality standards, maintaining the product backlog, and providing input on product performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage IT products and services that support company operations.
  • Execute on product roadmaps focusing on short-term product improvements.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to define product requirements and refine user stories.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and collaborate with the QA team.
  • Maintain the product backlog and prioritize tasks for timely delivery.
  • Provide input on product performance and assist in documentation and training for new features.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline with 3+ years of experience in a product management role, or High School Diploma/General Education Degree with 6+ years of experience in a product management role.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.

  • Experience writing user stories, refining product backlogs, and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or Jira for project management and collaboration.
  • Experience with SAP S4 or similar ERP systems, with emphasis on CMMS / maintenance modules within SAP.
  • Knowledge of agile development practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master.
  • Understanding of IT systems, software development methodologies, and project management principles.
