About the position

The IT Product Manager (Plant Maintenance) plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology and business needs by developing and managing IT products and services that support the company operations, enhance efficiency, and drive growth in collaboration with the Product Owner. The manager will execute on product roadmaps as outlined by senior leadership, focusing on short-term product improvements and tactical delivery. This role involves working closely with the Product Owner to define product requirements, refine user stories, and ensure clear communication between business and IT teams focused on developing Plant Maintenance and Quality applications to serve 9 production plants across the US. The manager will conduct user acceptance testing and collaborate with the QA team to ensure product features meet quality standards. Additionally, they will maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it remains actionable and aligned with immediate business goals, and prioritize day-to-day tasks within the backlog to ensure timely delivery of product updates and enhancements. The role also includes providing input on product performance, helping to identify minor improvements that can be quickly implemented, and assisting in the documentation and training for new features, ensuring stakeholders are aware of upcoming changes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the product backlog and prioritize tasks for timely delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline with 3+ years of experience in a product management role, or High School Diploma/General Education Degree with 6+ years of experience in a product management role.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time.

  • Experience using Azure DevOps or Jira for project management and collaboration.
  • Experience with SAP S4 or similar ERP systems, with emphasis on CMMS / maintenance modules within SAP.
  • Knowledge of agile development practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master.
  • Understanding of IT systems, software development methodologies, and project management principles.
