About the position

The IT Product Manager I, Risk Management is responsible for collaborating with the Senior IT Product Manager II to build relationships with the Risk Management department and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements. This role involves working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies to ensure application support and project deadlines are met for various Risk applications. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Senior Product Manager II and stakeholders to identify business needs and processes.
• Document workflows and business processes, both current and future states.
• Gather and confirm requirements, entering user stories into JIRA and other management tools.
• Create and execute test scripts, evaluate test results, and track issues for resolution.
• Coordinate with business owners to ensure the UAT environment meets expectations.
• Document medium to large scale projects, including use cases and functional requirements.
• Lead change management efforts across all phases of projects to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in business analysis, product management, and process design.
• Experience with workflow and project management software.
• Ability to write and understand complex business-driven user stories.

Nice-to-haves

• Legal or Financial knowledge and understanding is a plus.
