About The Position

The IT Program Manager at KaiHonua, LLC is responsible for establishing new accounts and managing existing IT projects. This role involves overseeing IT engineering teams that deliver comprehensive IT services, including network operations, systems administration, and information security. The Program Manager will interface with various stakeholders, ensure contract performance, and engage in business development activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as an IT project manager, preferably with DoD projects.
  • CAPM, PMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Proficient in handling complex technical development concepts and software tools.
  • Strong knowledge of database concepts and designing techniques.
  • Understanding of different programming languages and problem-solving in coding, testing, and deployment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with government contracting and compliance regulations.
  • Familiarity with various software systems and client/server architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and oversee management of new and existing IT projects.
  • Act as the primary management focal point for administrative, managerial, and financial aspects of contracts.
  • Oversee contract performance and manage assigned contractor staff for various IT support services.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for program issues with the Contracting Officer Representative.
  • Provide continuous management oversight and coordination with stakeholders and project managers.
  • Develop, update, and measure performance against Program Management Plans.
  • Manage technical, cost, schedule, and delivery aspects in accordance with PWS and PMP.
  • Participate in meetings to facilitate effective communication between the team and leadership.
  • Conduct integration planning and analysis for additional support or services.
  • Manage performance issues and personnel, including recruitment and retention of staff.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD security programs and prepare performance reports.
