About the position

Link Solutions Inc. is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team in support of the US Army's Network Enterprise Center at Fort Bragg, NC. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations of our programs, providing oversight for a variety of tasks and activities. These include technical and engineering support, cybersecurity, IT operations, networking, and system administration. Your role will support the operations, maintenance, and sustainment of both existing and new government IT systems. You will oversee our team and work closely with our government customers to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and direction to personnel across all functional areas of delivery.
  • Analyze and propose ideas, suggestions, and improvements for customer support.
  • Review and evaluate personnel work, and prepare performance reports.
  • Serve as the overall Project Manager and primary interface with customers.
  • Lead the technical program for all performance areas of delivery.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery team.
  • Manage, coordinate, and track work across all functional areas of delivery.
  • Plan and implement large-scale projects with no impact on daily operations.
  • Serve as the senior technical subject matter expert across all functional performance areas.

Requirements

  • US Citizen.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Eight (8+) years of relevant experience in information technology that includes areas such as desktop hardware, operating systems, office productivity software, computer networking-Local Area Network (LAN) /Wide Area Network (WAN), servers, SharePoint, virtual machines, and video teleconferencing.
  • Experience as a Project Manager in an IT Enterprise Management and help desk-centric environment.
  • Experience leading programs of 20+ technical staff.
  • Knowledgeable in Army Network Enterprise Center operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
  • Program Management Plus (PMP) certification or Certified Associate Project Manager.
  • Experience with Knowledge Management or process creation.
  • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
  • Problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
  • Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
