About the position

The IT Property Support Specialist I plays a crucial role in providing technical support for computer hardware and software within the Las Vegas Region IT Property Operations team at Caesars Entertainment. This position focuses on assisting end users at various casino properties and back-office facilities, ensuring smooth operation and troubleshooting of IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking.
  • Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals.
  • Identify issues that require escalation.
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs.
  • Assist with special event or project related equipment setups.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Perform duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1 year computer operations experience in an iSeries and/or Windows server environment.
  • Knowledge of basic system commands and error message recognition.
  • Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, such as printers and scanners.
  • Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills.
  • Customer-oriented attitude.
  • College diploma or equivalent experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • CompTIA's A+, Network+, or Security+ (preferred, but not required).
