About the position

The IT Regulatory Liaison serves as the subject matter expert in Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance, focusing on how compliance impacts the technology stack. This role involves monitoring, analysis, design, and remediation tasks in collaboration with technology system administrators. The liaison is responsible for training employees on PCI awareness and ensuring that all activities align with company standards and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) on PCI.
  • Produce, review, and maintain all documentation regarding the incorporation of PCI standards into business policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the completion of the PCI Self-Assessment Questionnaires, including gathering evidence of PCI compliance.
  • Assist with PCI standards compliance and recommend solutions to problems with preventing, maintaining, or achieving compliance.
  • Assist the infrastructure team and/or network team on PCI-related security issues.
  • Assist with QA testing of compliance.
  • Assist with compliance audits.
  • Assist with the creation of awareness training and review final materials for accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with PCI Compliance concepts.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology.
  • Experience in credit card processing, debit card processing, and payment processing; bank experience preferred.
  • Experience creating business/technical requirements focused on PCI compliance.
  • Experience implementing PCI Compliant technology preferred.
  • Strong communication skills explaining technical issues related to the payment card industry and its standards.
  • Appropriate Industry Certifications (PCI-DSS) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP and other network protocols.
  • Strong understanding of cloud storage and processing capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing business requirements and leading teams through technical design.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing complex business and technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience creating or reviewing systems and networking diagrams.
  • Demonstrated experience with preparing user documentation and conducting user training.
  • Ability to interact effectively with other Bank colleagues.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and adapt to change.
  • Must be customer/service focused.
