About the position

The IT Service Analyst at Fairfield and Woods, P.C. plays a crucial role in supporting legal professionals by ensuring efficient and secure technology operations. This position combines technical expertise with customer service skills to enhance service delivery and support within the IT department. The analyst will act as a liaison between IT and users, focusing on troubleshooting, process management, and ongoing improvements in technology services.

Responsibilities

• Analyze IT systems, manage software applications, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Provide first level response to end user questions and problems.
• Collaborate with vendors and provide training to staff on new technologies.
• Understand and help with network infrastructure, databases, and software applications.
• Analyze service performance data and identify trends or issues.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years of experience in IT support or analysis, IT infrastructure and hardware, proficiency in legal software applications, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Advanced computer literacy skills - MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Advanced skills using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Webex.
• Strong time management, organization skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Initiative, flexibility, resiliency, and a willingness to adapt to change.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a legal environment.
• Knowledge and/or proficiency in the use of NetDocs, SurePoint/LMS+, or other time entry systems.
