About the position

The IT Site Support Specialist is responsible for managing technical support services for employees in supported offices. This hands-on role involves providing both remote and desktop support, as well as assisting with various IT projects such as storage implementation and server upgrades. The specialist will ensure timely resolution of technical issues and support the mobility platform.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and end-user support for Mac OS and Microsoft Windows platforms.
  • Log tickets and ensure timely resolution of first-line issues or escalate to other support teams.
  • Provide desktop/laptop break/fix/maintenance support.
  • Support the growing mobility platform including iOS, Android, and Windows-based platforms.
  • Assist with technology onboarding and offboarding asset recovery.
  • Build PCs and laptops.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated prior IT experience, preferably in the professional services industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to prioritize issues on a case-by-case basis.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience working in an ITIL-based Service Desk.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Windows-based technologies.
  • Familiarity with hardware platforms including HP laptops and Cisco phones.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, SCCM, and Exchange.
  • Outstanding troubleshooting skills in WAN/LAN/Desktop situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
