About The Position

Stanford University's Information Technology (UIT) organization is seeking a passionate Oracle Software Developer to join the Middleware and Integration Services (MaIS) group. This role involves developing and maintaining systems that manage enterprise data for the university, utilizing technologies such as Oracle Integration Cloud, Java, and JavaScript. The developer will work closely with various teams to deploy software applications that are secure, reliable, and scalable, contributing to the core functions of the university.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering and five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in building web service and file-based integrations using the Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) platform.
• 5+ years of experience in Java, JavaScript, Web Services, AJAX, XML, HTML, and CSS development.
• Proficient in Oracle SQL and PLSQL for developing conversions, interfaces, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM) or Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud is a plus.
• Certification on Fusion Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize design, implement, and develop solutions for complex systems/programs independently.
• Work with clients to gain information and develop intra-system tradeoffs between different users.
• Document system builds and application configurations; maintain and update documentation as needed.
• Provide technical analysis, design, development, conversion, and implementation work.
• Serve as a project leader for projects of moderate complexity.
• Mentor lower-level software developers.
• Compare, evaluate, and implement new features and technologies, integrating them into the computing environment.
