Re-Entry - IT Strategy Consultant

As an IT Strategy Consultant, you will start with an immersive learning program, focused on building a core set of business and consulting skills which you will use working on exciting projects with our flagship clients. You will become the trusted advisor accountable for delivering highly complex, multi-disciplined consulting engagements that provide lasting and measurable value to our esteemed customers. The role will have two different tracks: one with a technical focus and the other with a strong business focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting services by developing technology solutions and offering IT strategy insights based on understanding the client's business objectives and IT requirements.
• Advise, analyze, and define client IT strategy to increase business value and improve service delivery, including adopting modern techniques and a modern operating model.
• Apply issue-based consulting methods.
• Provide strategies, assessments, recommendations, and plans analytically.
• Analyze customers' current business processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for incremental improvement.

Requirements

• Early career experience level.
• Basic understanding of core services offered by established cloud hyperscalers (e.g. Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud etc.).
• Understanding of IT operations and IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills in diverse environments.
• Familiar with new ways of Working, e.g. Agile, Scrum.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with at least one functional application development language (Java, .NET, Node, etc.).
• An example project where you implemented technology to solve a real or hypothetical business problem.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in consulting is a plus.
• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent educational credentials, certifications, or experience.
• Experience in project management disciplines.
• Experience in or knowledge of application development and creation of user interfaces - ABAP, SAP UI5, Fiori.
• Data engineering and data science.
• Experience with Azure, GCP, AWS Oracle Cloud Environments.
• Knowledge of Windows Automation Platforms: Kubernetes, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins.
• Experience with NoSQL DBs: MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, HBASE.
• Experience with containerization & microservices: Kubernetes, serverless computing.
• Experience with Infrastructure as code - Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep.
• Data visualization experience with any BI tool - SAP SAC, SAP Datasphere.
• Experience with RDBMS Databases: HANA, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, DB2.
• Knowledge of business processes (PTP, OTC, GL, FA, Budgeting, Cash Management, etc.).
• Certification on key technologies within your platform or area of expertise.
• Ability to articulate key technologies' impact on security, availability, cost, capacity, etc.
• Applied experience in Agile (Kanban, SAFe, and Scrum).
• Knowledge in DevOps Tools including Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of software architecture.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform's data and AI features.
• Competency with Python and Jupyter Notebooks for data manipulation.
