About The Position

As an IT Support Manager at Von Maur, you will oversee the help desk and hardware support operations within the Information Systems department. Your role is crucial in maintaining network integrity and security while managing the installation and maintenance of hardware and software across various devices in the company. Responsibilities

  • Motivate support staff to receive, document, and resolve employee and company technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Oversee configuration and troubleshooting of a variety of devices including user PCs, handheld computers, printers, time clocks, and registers.
  • Maintain, enforce, and abide by established network security and confidentiality policies, including all controls required for PCI compliance.
  • Estimate and schedule project completion times.
  • Participate in the interview process and make employment decisions.
  • Assess associate performance and provide feedback.
  • Administer performance evaluations.
