About the position

The IT Support Specialist role at Global IT Resources involves providing technical support within a healthcare setting, specifically focusing on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT systems and devices. The position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Perform hardware refresh and maintain end-point devices.
  • Troubleshoot desktop issues, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Document processes and technical issues accurately.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and vendors for issue resolution.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to address complex technical problems.
  • Follow established processes for monitoring and maintaining IT systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience in IT support.
  • Experience with installation and configuration of Windows 7 & 10.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of networking and telecom.
  • Knowledge of SCCM is a plus.
  • Excellent critical and analytical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Two years of experience in IT support preferred.
  • Certifications such as A+, Network+, CCENT, CNTS, ACIS preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour.
  • Work schedule of 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
