About the position

The IT Support Specialist II plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of staff, clubs, and programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee through technology. This position involves both on-site and remote support to ensure that technology is utilized to its fullest potential, ultimately benefiting the children served by the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, prioritize, and triage new support tickets
  • Support end-user devices (builds, troubleshooting, patches, apps, etc.)
  • Support fleet of Chromebooks
  • Printer & Copier Support
  • Event & Meeting Setup & Support
  • Basic LAN, WAN, & WIFI troubleshooting
  • Administer Active Directory Users & Computers
  • Maintain Asset Inventory
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager of IT

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory (User Administration, DNS Administration, DHCP Administration, Group Policy Administration)
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Azure and Office 365
  • Ability to configure and provide basic troubleshooting for network devices (switches, WAPs, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Server, Windows 10, Windows 11
  • Must have a valid WI driver's license, a vehicle to be used for work, and meet state-required automobile insurance minimums
  • IT related Associates Degree OR comparable certifications/experience
  • 2-3 years of experience (3-5 without a degree)
