About the position

Centerline Healthcare Partners is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide exceptional technical assistance and support within the organization. This hybrid role allows for remote work on certain days, with onsite presence required as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for technology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently. This position combines foundational Level 1 responsibilities with some Level 2 troubleshooting tasks, offering opportunities for growth and skill development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 accounts, including user onboarding/offboarding and license management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 IT issues, including hardware, software, and network-related problems.
  • Provide timely support for Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS systems, ensuring smooth functionality and minimal downtime.
  • Deploy and configure IT equipment such as laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
  • Utilize IT ticketing software (e.g., Jira ITSM) to manage, prioritize, and document support requests effectively.
  • Assist in managing healthcare-specific applications, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platforms.
  • Document technical procedures, solutions, and FAQs for future reference.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level technical teams when necessary.
  • Perform additional IT-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems, such as Jira ITSM, for tracking and resolving issues.
  • Proficiency with both Windows and Mac OS systems for troubleshooting and support.
  • Familiarity with a range of software tools and applications, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare IT systems and the ability to gain proficiency with specialized tools like EMR software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for creating and maintaining records.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration is highly desirable.
