About the position

The IT Support Specialist at Pure Financial Advisors, LLC is responsible for providing both onsite and remote technical support to employees, addressing technology issues, and managing help desk tickets. This role involves troubleshooting a variety of IT problems, maintaining user hardware and software, and participating in IT projects as needed. The position requires travel to branch offices and a strong focus on customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
  • Handle ticketing system and maintain IT documentation & knowledge base.
  • Install, maintain, and support user hardware, software, networks, printers, and phones.
  • Identify, document, and resolve persistent technical issues.
  • Manage Help Desk requests and resolve incident/system issues.
  • Perform initial diagnosis and incident resolution, following up with end users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents associated with firm-standard end-user applications.
  • Setup and maintain hardware, including printers and scanners.
  • Setup new workstations and perform laptop/desktop imaging for new devices.
  • Manage endpoint management tasks such as workstation patching and antivirus.
  • Provision new user accounts in Active Directory, O365, and SSO systems.
  • Provide Apple iOS support for iPads using MDM technologies.
  • Support Windows 10/11 and Apple Macintosh devices.
  • Participate in IT projects to support broader initiatives.
  • Train users on applications and Windows functionality.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of IT Helpdesk and support experience.
  • A+ Certified, MCDST Certified, MCP Certified, or MCSE Certified.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems, particularly Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of peripherals, including tablets, smartphones, printers, and scanners.
  • Ability to maintain vigilance on security and confidential issues while adhering to PCI requirements.
  • Ability to communicate technical details to non-technical users.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory/O365.
  • Familiarity with VMWare or other virtualization environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
  • Familiarity with Okta or another Single Sign-On provider.
  • Experience with Apple iOS and Macintosh devices.
  • Experience with Workstation Imaging / Automated Software Deployment solutions.
