About the position

Pacific Office Automation is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a TAM, your primary responsibility will be to support our current client base in a post-sales relationship. This role encompasses all aspects of the Information Technology sale, including post-sales calls, directing clients during the onboarding process, conducting network discoveries, and providing technical direction and support. You will be expected to complete quarterly business reviews and maintain a strong working relationship with current clients and sales engineers. In this position, you will engage in comprehensive consultations with IT clients at the highest technical levels on a quarterly basis. You will provide technical recommendations during the initial sales process, present the components of the Maturity Model, and assist clients with their technology roadmap. Collaboration is key, as you will work in a team environment with other TAMs to support our clients effectively. Additionally, you will design, write, and develop scopes of work for IT applications and hardware installations, facilitating meetings and strategic planning sessions with current clients to satisfy, retain, and expand our account base. Your role will also involve providing training, development, and direction to IT Engineers who support over 200 Outside Sales Representatives. Building and maintaining a 'trusted advisor' relationship with the current IT service desk, sales teams, and clients is essential. You will be expected to continuously develop your understanding of key vertical market trends, regulations, and compliance requirements, as well as enhance your IT and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Support the current client base in a post-sales relationship.

  • Stay updated on key vertical market trends, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience as a Technical Account Manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
  • Net+ Certified, MCP, MCA, MCSE, Cloud, Firewall certifications.
  • Knowledge of IT managed services and IT project engineering.
  • Sales experience coupled with management in a technical field.
  • Good understanding of general IT operations and service management.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of risk mitigation, security, web technologies, routing, exchange, active directory, and servers.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, email, server migration, VPN technologies, data migration, systems integration, VMware, and Hyper V.
