As a Field Service IVVI Engineer at Westinghouse Electric, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's mission to provide clean energy solutions. This position involves providing technical leadership and project oversight during the preparation and delivery of In-Vessel Visual Inspection (IVVI) solutions, ensuring that results meet high-quality standards and align with customer expectations. You will be responsible for directing Level II visual examiners during outage activities, preparing outage IVVI scopes, and final reports of examinations. Additionally, you will interface with customers and support industry meetings as required, preparing outage visual scopes and scheduling examinations in accordance with in-vessel windows. Your role will also include developing and implementing field use and maintenance procedures, conducting Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and supporting specific projects that involve planning, implementing, and financial reporting to the business. You will work closely with field project delivery teams to ensure the operation and maintenance of systems at customer sites and maintenance facilities. This position requires a significant amount of travel, estimated at 40-60% of the time, to both domestic and international sites. As you gain experience, you will have the opportunity to grow into an IVVI Level III Engineer by acquiring knowledge in ASME code and BWRVIP guidelines, as well as project experience.
