The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (USWM) business is dedicated to assisting investors in achieving their long-term financial goals. This division encompasses a variety of services, including the Chase wealth management business, J.P. Morgan Advisors, Personal Advisors, and Self-Directed digital investing platform. The combined business manages approximately one trillion dollars in Assets Under Management and employs around 5,000 advisors across 3,500 branches and 20 offices. The Tax Area Product Owner role is crucial in supporting and aligning with the overall objectives of the Statements & Tax product. This position is responsible for driving the product roadmap and defining specific, measurable Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the product. The Tax Area Product Owner will also help define and groom product feature requirements through the agile framework, assisting operations teams and advisors with client inquiries. A key aspect of this role is to ensure that all technology teams operate efficiently by consistently reviewing agility metrics. Additionally, the Tax Area Product Owner will aid in the creation and delivery of a monthly product cabinet to keep all key partners informed about the product roadmap. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all regulatory reporting requirements are met for all JPM WM investment accounts. The Tax Area Product Owner will create a consistent cost basis and tax statement experience across all accounting platforms and client channels, enabling the tax platform to support future growth by driving the tax engine migration initiative. Coordination with other product teams is essential to agree on delivery expectations and to work through any blockers that may arise. The role also involves working closely with technology teams to prioritize and plan product releases, performing quarterly planning based on partner technology teams' capacity, and managing the workflow of Stories and Epics in Jira for accurate progress reflection. Ultimately, the Tax Area Product Owner will own accountability for requirements delivery from start to finish, including fulfilling acceptance criteria, and will step in as needed for issue triage and remediation to ensure consistent production quality.
