Java AWS Developer

About the position

Arthur Grand Technologies is seeking a Java AWS Developer with a minimum of 10 years of experience. The position is located in NYC, NY and is onsite. The role involves working with Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, and AWS Services, particularly Terraform. The candidate should have experience in Agile software development methodology and practices, covering the full development lifecycle from inception through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Java applications using J2EE, Spring, and Microservices.
• Utilize Agile methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with teams to design and build complex application systems.
• Work with SCM tools such as GIT and Jenkins.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and documentation for Java/J2EE systems.
• Enhance integration capabilities between front-end and back-end systems using Web Services and Java RMI technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Microservices, and Webservices.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle/SQL Server.
• Experience with application development using Java Design Patterns and JUnit.
• Strong working knowledge of IntelliJ, Maven, and Tomcat.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with modern programming languages.
• Knowledge of architecture, design, and business processes.
• Familiarity with SOAP/REST web service technologies.
