JAVA & Big Data With GCP Developer

About the position

We are seeking a Java, Bigdata developer with GCP experienced Engineer who has a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Big Data technologies, with hands-on experience in GCP managed services. This role involves developing microservices and working with data processing and ingestion in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• 6+ years of Java8, Spring Boot, Python programming and API development experience (Build Tools: Maven, Gradle)
• Developed microservices using Java (REST API/Spring Boot) for Enterprise Cloud Platforms
• Strong programming knowledge in SQL, Pyspark, Data processing, data ingestion and data engineering
• Hands-on experience in Big Data technologies (Spark, Hive, MapReduce and Hbase)
• Understanding and experience with UNIX / Shell / Perl / Python scripting
• Hands-on experience on GCP app migration and GCP fundamentals, especially Big Query and DataFlow
