About The Position

WOONGJIN, Inc. is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will evaluate business and system requirements, ensuring technical feasibility, estimating development effort, and implementing sequences. This role involves designing, developing, and validating software products, supporting vendor development efforts, and coordinating with various stakeholders. The developer will be responsible for creating Java software modules, providing technical direction to the engineering team, and establishing development guidelines. The position also requires researching new technologies and preparing detailed specifications for programming tasks.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience in development with Java.
• Bilingual in English and Korean.
• Proficient in Java, JSP, JavaScript, jQuery, React, Spring Framework, MyBatis, Python, Node.js.
• Experience with Oracle database.
• Familiarity with Apache, Tomcat, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with .NET Framework.
• Experience in iOS and Android app development.
• Familiarity with MS-SQL database.
• Experience with IIS.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business and system requirements.
• Ensure technical feasibility and estimate development effort.
• Design, develop, and validate product/software.
• Support vendor development efforts and required coordination.
• Develop Java software modules using Java and database-related technologies.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to the engineering team/vendor.
• Create clean, unit-tested, and refactored code.
• Establish development environment and development guidelines.
• Research new technology and recommend technical and architectural improvements.
• Prepare detailed specifications for programming tasks.
• Work with multiple stakeholders to analyze requirements and clarify design dependencies.
• Support testing efforts by troubleshooting and providing solutions to issues.
