About the position

CACI is seeking a mid-level Java software developer who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be supporting and building new capabilities for the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), which consists of many modules spanning all aspects of DoD procurement from Solicitation through Contract Closeout and related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and implementing solutions using exciting technology to solve moderately complex problems.
  • Creating and enhancing java applications, building reports, optimizing user experience, and supporting efforts to enhance the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
  • Working as part of a Scaled Agile (SAFe) team, responsible for making adjustments or recommended enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen and be willing to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Requires technical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Typically has a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience.
  • Requires understanding and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, and technical concepts obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience developing Java-based enterprise web applications.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, JSF or equivalent.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud hosted environments.
  • TypeScript.
  • Spring Boot.
  • Container management (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Big Data technologies.
  • Oracle.
