About The Position

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Java Developer to join the Fraud and Claims team in Jersey City, NJ. This role requires a candidate with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams, including quality assurance consultants. The position is contract-based with a duration of 12 months and offers a hybrid work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Proficiency in Spring, Spring Integration, Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, NOSQL, and Restful services.
• Hands-on experience with Eclipse, IntelliJ, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Autosys.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting.
• Experience with Code Quality Tools like JUnit and Sonar/Crucible.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications for the Fraud and Claims team.
• Collaborate with quality assurance consultants to ensure software quality.
• Write complex SQL queries for data manipulation and retrieval.
• Utilize J2EE technologies and frameworks such as Spring and Spring Integration.
• Implement and manage applications using RedHat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies.
