About The Position

The Java Developer position at BCforward involves working with the Fraud and Claims team to develop and maintain applications using Java/J2EE technologies. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Proficiency in Spring, Spring Integration, Cassandra, Kafka, MQ, NOSQL, and Restful services.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
• Experience with Code Quality Tools like JUnit and Sonar/Crucible.
• Knowledge of modern development methodologies including Agile.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with RedHat OpenShift.
• Familiarity with WS-Security.
• Experience with Autosys.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Collaborate with quality assurance consultants and other teams.
• Write complex SQL queries for database interactions.
• Utilize tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ, Splunk, and Dynatrace for development and monitoring.
• Implement and manage applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Ensure code quality using tools like JUnit and Sonar/Crucible.
• Participate in Agile development processes.
