About the position

Be a part of a team responsible for implementing quality assurance programs, coding, testing, and verifying the quality of automated applications to identify errors and solutions in the software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with QA Analysts and Developers to ensure comprehensive system testing coverage, enhancing system reliability, performance, and quality.
• Adhere to the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC) by engaging in scope assessment, risk, and cost analysis.
• Possibly coach, lead, and mentor other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Manage testing for ongoing projects and future initiatives, delivering effective and efficient testing solutions.
• Meet key project milestones and deliverables on time, while adhering to development and quality standards.
• Analyze testing needs to develop comprehensive testing strategies and plans.
• Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures, including database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.
• Ensure software documentation is technically accurate, compliant, and complete, mitigating potential risks.
• Maintain and update application documentation in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java programming is essential for developing robust applications.
• Experience with JIRA for project tracking and management.
• Expertise in Selenium for automated testing of web applications.
• Familiarity with Karate API for testing web services.
• Competence in using IntelliJ as an integrated development environment.
