Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Build RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend.
  • Implement efficient database queries and manage database schema design.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the stack.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of the software system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 2+ years of proven industry experience.
  • Backend Development: Hands-on experience with Java frameworks like Spring Boot or Hibernate.
  • Frontend Development: Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React.js, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Database Integration: Working knowledge of database management, including writing complex SQL queries.
  • API Development: Experience designing and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
  • Version Control: Proficient in using Git for collaboration and version control.
  • Testing: Writing and executing unit tests using tools like JUnit, or similar.
  • Project Lifecycle Knowledge: Exposure to SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and related tools (e.g., Spring Cloud).
  • Basic exposure to containerization tools like Docker or orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Understanding of security best practices (e.g., OAuth2).
